SEN Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B17 | £90 - £105 per day | September 2024

LTF Recruitment is looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming partner primary school in Harborne. This rewarding role offers the successful candidate the chance to make a meaningful impact on the progress and success of students who need additional support. This role will involve working 1:1 and in small groups supporting children with SEN in a well-funded resource base. The role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:

  • Providing tailored support to SEN students with ASD in both one-to-one and small group settings as required.
  • Working closely with the team to implement inclusive strategies that cater to the diverse needs, abilities, and learning styles of each student.
  • Encouraging active participation and engagement in the learning process.
  • Leading small group intervention sessions and offering focused phonics support.
  • Ensuring every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential within a nurturing and supportive environment.

What we are looking for:

  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification/degree.
  • Experience working in a Primary School.
  • Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
