Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with special educational needs in their academic and social development.
  • Assist the SEN Coordinator and classroom teachers in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support for students as needed.
  • Help prepare and adapt learning materials to suit the needs of SEN students.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
  • Monitor and record students' progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Assist with personal care and mobility needs, if required.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
  • Relevant educational qualifications or certifications in SEN are a plus.
