LTF Recruitment are looking for a caring and nurturing SEN teaching assistant to work in our Primary school in the Northfield area. This role will involve working alongside a supportive team working with children in Early years with Complex Autism Spectrum Disorder, Speech Language and Communication needs.

The Role:

The role will be based both within a SEN Resource hub and the school aims to develop its students as individuals with the use of outdoor learning and therapeutic intervention. Pupils are given the freedom that the grounds of the school provide, and your role will to be interact with the children and support children with learning and development in either small groups or on a 1:1 basis. This role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to go permanent for the successful candidate.

The Ideal candidate:

  • Has previous experience working in a school environment or Preschool environment
  • Has experience supporting children 1:1 or 2:1 or in small groups.
  • Has experience or knowledge of supporting child/children with ASD, SLCN, non verbal
  • Understanding of EYFS framework
  • Has TA qualifications or relevant degree
  • Can work as part of a team.
