Are you looking for a rewarding role supporting a child with SEN?

LTF Recruitment are looking for a nurturing and patient SEN teaching assistant to join a supportive EYFS team in a two-form entry infant school in Kings Norton.

This role will involve supporting a reception child with SEN. The child has a diagnosis of ASD and needs support with development of their speech and language and managing behaviour. The role is offered on a long-term basis with the opportunity to become permanent for the successful applicant.

The Ideal candidate:

  • Has experience working 1:1 with children with SEN (ASD, Speech & Language Needs)
  • Experience managing behaviour and/or behavioural management strategies.
  • Has previous experience working in an early year's environment either reception or Nursery
  • Has TA qualifications or relevant degree.
  • Can work as part of a team.
  • Has a sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum
