SEN Teaching Assistant

Weekly Take Home Pay: £380-£430 take home

Days: Full Time, Monday - Friday, Term Time Only

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Long Term Futures are working on an exciting position with a mainstream primary school in B21. The role will include supporting groups of students in small groups with special educational needs.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with special educational needs 1:1 or within a resource base
  • Planning engaging learning activities and adjusting activities to pupils' needs as appropriate
  • Delivering interventions for groups of learners such as phonics, reading
  • Fostering relationships with staff, students, and parents
  • Work with individuals or small groups of pupils in the classroom

Requirements:

  • Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or degree
  • Experience working with children or within a school environment
  • Experience supporting students with special educational needs
