SEN Teaching Assistant

- Daily Rate: £50-60
- Start Date: ASAP
- Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
- Part Time Hours: 8:30am - 12:30pm
Long Term Futures are seeking a patient and resilient Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work at an Ofsted-rated 'Good' two-form entry primary school in the Northfield area. This role involves supporting a Reception child with ASD and challenging behaviour on a 1:1 basis. The position is long-term with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Ideal Candidate:-
Experience:
- Supporting children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH, in either mainstream or specialist settings.
- Working in UK primary schools and understanding the EYFS curriculum.
- Providing 1:1 support, running small group interventions, and tracking student progress.

Skills:
- Strong behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Ideally, trained in Team Teach or similar behaviour management approaches.
- A friendly, welcoming, and inclusive two-form entry infant school with a strong reputation.
- Supportive senior leadership team and SENDCO.
- Ofsted-rated 'Good' with a well-funded resource base.
- Committed to providing an inclusive and nurturing environment for all students.
