Smart Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students aged 14 to 25 with low behavioural ASD, ADHD, and Down's Syndrome. Job Requirements for this SEN Teaching Assistant role:
•    Must hold a valid Child or Child and Adult Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
•    Must have a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
•    Must have a minimum of 6 months SEN experience in a school or similar setting
•    Experience working with children or young people with SEN needs
•    Ability to provide tailored support to meet individual student needs
•    Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting diverse learning styles
•    Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with teachers and SENCOs


This role involves working within a specialist setting supporting young adults with varying levels of additional needs. You will play a vital role in helping students develop confidence, independence, and key skills to succeed in their education.
