Teacheractive have been working alongside SEND school’s in the West Midlands that work with vulnerable students with varying special needs.

The school’s we work with offer a range of support to their students by providing tailor made Educational and Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and Indiviailised Learning Plans (ILPs) that are specifically designed to help focus on encouraging desirable behaviours and skills for each student.

The schools we work with are looking to work with SEN teaching assistants on a temporary, long term and day to day basis.

The successful SEN teaching assistant will have:

-          Outstanding people skills

-          Experience in working with students with the following needs SEMH/ASD/ASC/MLD/PMLD

-          Experience working with KS1 to KS4

-          Excellent communication skills

-          Capable of building rapport with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

-          Resilient and compassionate

-          Caring and empathetic nature
