Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students.
  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Foster a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with personal care tasks.
  • Collaborate with teachers and therapists.
  • Use positive behaviour management strategies.
  • Promote social and emotional development.

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
  • Experience with PMLD, ASC, challenging behaviour, and mental health needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for child development.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety.
