Design & Technology Teacher – Special School Are you a Design & Technology Teacher with a commitment to making education accessible for students with special educational needs? This welcoming special school in East Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire creativity, improve motor schools and teach practical skills to students in a nurturing and well-supported environment.The school caters to students with a range of special educational needs, including Autism and Moderate Learning Difficulties.   • Teaching Design & Technology to small groups of students with special educational needs.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Design & Technology, preferably with a background in working with SEND students.
  • A creative, patient, and empathetic approach to teaching.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A valid DBS check on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
