Food Technology Teacher required to teach small classes of students with a range of special educational needs. Are you a Food Technology Teacher looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy helping student to overcome barriers to education and getting the most out of each day? This wonderful Special Educational Needs School are looking to add an experienced Food Technology Teacher or Food Technology instructor to the team on an ongoing basis.As a Food Technology Teacher you will be teaching small classes of Key Stage 3 & 4 students with a range of Special Educational Needs. This role requires a teacher with a calm approach to classroom management, and someone who has a genuine love for teaching Food Technology. This role is suitable for a QTS Food Technology Teacher or an experienced instructor.Job Role:
  • Teaching Food Technology to Students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Planning and delivering lessons to meet the need of individual students.
  • Liaising with the SENCO and TA’s to ensure children are supported appropriately.
  • Making school a nurturing, welcoming and safe place for students.
  • Helping young people to break down academic and social barriers.
