Reed Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) for a primary school in Stechford, Birmingham. This role offers the opportunity to significantly contribute to the redevelopment of the current SEND provision, working collaboratively with the SLT team to support students with special educational needs and disabilities in achieving their full potential.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Identify and assess the special educational needs of students.
  • Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to provide necessary support and resources.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of students with SEN.
  • Support the professional development of staff in SEN-related matters.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with relevant regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hold a recognised qualification in SEN coordination.
