We are working with an SEN school which requires a long-term Teacher of English to carry out maternity leave cover:

  • Based at an SEN school in Birmingham City Centre working with children who are undergoing medical treatment and are, at this point in time, unable to attend mainstream school due to their medical needs.
  • Planning, teaching and delivering the English Curriculum from KS3 up to GCSE level
  • Class sizes will be small and there may be some one-to-one teaching depending on the pupils concerned.
  • The role is to start after Easter and will run, in the first instance, up until December 2025, but could extend beyond due to it being maternity cover.
  • The role will be on a term-time-only time sheet basis and will be Monday to Friday 7.30 - 3.30.
