Tradewind are working with an outstanding primary special school in North Birmingham who are looking to appoint an inspirational teacher starting from September to join their dedicated team of staff and Governors.

The School provides a bespoke and tailored approach to learning and is committed to the academic, personal and social development of all learners.

Successful candidates will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in teaching students with special educational needs.
  • previous experience and skills of working with children with complex Autism and communication difficulties across at least 2 Key Stages
  • be flexible in their ability to use their skills to meet the needs of the range of pupils across the school
  • have a good knowledge of Autism and a willingness to learn more
  • be an enthusiastic, hardworking professional who can motivate and inspire children
  • be punctual, reliable and have a real sense of perspective
  • be flexible to the needs of the school with an "I can do" attitude and willingness to work in any class and with any pupils across the school
