A Secondary SEN Secondary School in Birmingham is looking for an SEN Teacher to cover a long-term absence. It is a successful school with a long and proven track-record of providing high quality education for pupils with ASC. The school has strong leadership, gained a good in their last Ofsted, and they pride themselves on giving support and development to members of staff working in the school on a temporary basis. The role is Monday to Friday and is term time only. The post is to start in March and will run in the first instance, up until Easter, and possibly beyond. The school are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about working with children with Autism
  • Has recent experience working in this area that can be referenced
  • Ideally, has QTS
  • The school would welcome people from a mainstream background who feel they have the relevant experience above
