Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Smart Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Bournville, supporting students aged 5 to 19 years with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs and ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition). Your expertise will help create a nurturing space where every student can achieve their full potential.

What We’re Looking For:

A valid Child or Child and Adult Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Minimum 6 months experience working with SEN students
Experience in planning and delivering tailored lessons to support students with SEMH and ASC
A compassionate and patient approach with excellent communication skills
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs

You will foster a positive and inclusive environment, working closely with support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure each child thrives.
