Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with autism? Academics is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Saltley, committed to supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).

This is a full-time SEN Teacher role in a Saltley, nurturing class of 11 children, starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year. You'll be joining a supportive team in a well-resourced environment that puts the needs of its pupils at the heart of everything it does.

? Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons to a class of 11 pupils with autism

  • Create a structured and inclusive learning environment that supports each child's individual needs

  • Work closely with a dedicated team of support staff and the wider school SEN team in a school iN Saltley

  • Develop and implement personalised learning plans and behavioural strategies

? Requirements:
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching pupils with autism, ideally as a SEN Teacher

  • A creative, patient, and proactive approach to teaching
