Smart Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Bournville, supporting students aged 5 to 19 years with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs and ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition). What We’re Looking For:

  • A valid Child or Child and Adult Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
  • A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months experience working with SEN students
  • Experience in planning and delivering tailored lessons to support students with SEMH and ASC
  • A compassionate and patient approach with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
