Willo Education are working with a large SEN / SEND secondary school in the B29 area who are looking to recruit an experienced and passionateQualified teacher to join their team in January.

As someone who will be working with children who have SEN / SEND it is vital that you have the experience and understand the importance of your role. You will be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons while tailoring your approach to accommodate the diverse needs of your students. Patience, kindness and a strong drive to keep students interested and ready to learn is key to thriving in this role. Also, someone who has a positive attitude, is a great team player and is reliable and flexible.

About the school:

The school cater for children who have complex, profound and multiple learning difficulties, associated communication and language difficulties and challenging behaviours. Many of the students also have acute medical needs. The school also supports students with physical disabilities, sensory impairments and complex medical needs. The school offer, a supportive and positive team, strong management and a welcoming environment with room for progression. The position is long term and full time, continuing for a full academic year with permanent opportunities for the right person.

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

  • QTS- Qualified Teaching Status
  • Minimum 6 months teaching experience in the UK
