Role Overview: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join the team. The successful candidate will work with students who have a range of special educational needs, providing tailored support and ensuring they have access to a positive and inclusive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Work closely with other teachers, support staff, and parents to monitor and support student progress.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Assess and record student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEN education.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN best practices and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting the individual needs of each student.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
