We are working on behalf of a school which requires a teacher from January 2025 to carry out long-term cover through the spring term through till Easter 2025.Details are as follows.

  • Leading a high needs (sensory, complex behaviour) Year 7 Class.
  • The role is to cover for the spring term till Easter 2025 and would involve
  • The person concerned must have experience of teaching pupils that have ASC and SEMH and ideally have PRU type experience
  • The class has 5 pupils and 6 members of staff working with them
  • The person concerned must have experience of working with this level of complex need and pupils that have impulsive behaviours
  • The person concerned would ideally have experience of; PECS and ALD's, Intensive Interaction, TEACCH, Trauma-informedPractice and Team Teach
  • The class is heavily supported by the TA's and extended and senior leadership, as well as some external agencies
  • The class works on a very bespoke, individualised approach, that requires a high level of structure and routine
