WECD (www.w-ecd.com) is an established public policy, economic development and management consultancy. The work of our team includes consultancy and research in economic development, spatial economics, innovation, skills and education, and business support.
Areas of expertise include: research, evaluation, appraisal, impact assessments, forecasting, strategy development, public policy implementation and business planning.
We are now seeking to appoint experienced professionals to the positions of Senior Consultants and Research Managers within the team operating out of our Birmingham office.
The successful candidates will need to a have a degree in economics, geography, urban development or a social science subject with at least 5 years experience in consultancy, academia or a related field, where research, evaluation, impact assessments and bid writing were major components of their work. Candidates will need to demonstrate strong writing, analytical, communication and business development skills, and have a keen interest in one of the following areas:
- Innovation
- Skills
- Education
- Housing
- Health
Positions are available for permanent basis and fixed term contracts.
