We are looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistant's to support children with moderate learning difficulties, and associated behaviours. Interviews are now taking place.

Our Primary schools are located across the South Birmingham area, Our Teaching Assistant's work with pupils who require the support of a specialised curriculum to enable them to thrive and reach their full potential.

This Learning Support Assistant role is an excellent opportunity to work closely and network with other teams of professionals, gaining relevant experience, expanding your knowledge and skillset. This role will give you essential experience within a challenging yet rewarding setting - career progression routes include SEN Teacher, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist and various Child Psychology routes.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in providing the learning experience of students
  • Behaviour and pastoral support
  • Ability to build robust and effective relationships with students
  • Practical approach to meet the individual needs of students
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Caring, compassionate, and a good listener
  • Willing to work 1:1 and in small groups with students
  • Ensure safeguarding of students
  • Attend staff meetings and complete appropriate CPD
