Premier Recruitment Group has the privilege to recruit on behalf of our very prestigious client based in Birmingham. We are recruiting for experienced and forward thinking Speech and Language Therapist. This is part time(7.5 hours per week) and permanent position and working for very well established hospital within care company working in the field mental health, learning disabilities and autism.Very interesting and varied role with a scope for progression.

Requirements for the role:

  • Hold a degree or post graduate diploma in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent)
  • Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To provide speech and language input within patient review meetings.
  • To formulate communication passports and guidelines.
  • To consult with and provide specialist Speech and Language Therapy guidance to staff, and where appropriate, families and other professionals.
  • To assess communication needs of individuals within the service.
  • To assess eating and drinking of our patients where required and provide guidance to the staff team.
  • To consult with and advise colleagues from other professions on Speech and Language Therapy assessment and treatment methods
