My Automotive client is a leading company based in Warwickshire who are seeking an Advanced Procurement Manager to lead and co-ordinate procurement strategies. This role is pivotal in the development and implementation of new and existing commodity road maps.
The role will involve managing a team whose target is to plan, collaborate, and co-ordinate commodities in line with new technologies, by utilising leading market analysis and first-rate Project and cost management tools.
The candidate will lead the co-ordination of innovation-driven procurement strategies, foster collaboration with R&D functional teams, and ensure the organisation are using cutting edge methodologies.

This role is unlike a typical commodity role, or even a typical Programme procurement role, this is a position that will be at the cutting edge of new technologies working closely with best-in-class engineering and product designers. Looking inward and then taking this outward using innovative market analysis to ensure that as volumes increase, risk management, cost management is aligned. These will be measured via performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement throughout the Sourcing process.
What's on offer?
- Base salary of 70,000 to 75,000
- Bonus target of 7.5% (can go up to 15%)
