Procurement Specialist | up to £35,000 per annum + hybrid working to either Birmingham or London x1 a week.

Overview:

A fantastic opportunity to kickstart or further develop your experience within Procurement and join a fast-growing organisation who are at the forefront of patient care and specialist in eye care. This role will support the procurement department and responsible for end to end procurement activities.

The Role

This role will work closely with senior stakeholders such as Regional Heads of Operations, Regional Heads of Clinical services and other corporate departments. You will also be crucial in managing the compliance to the Health and Safety balanced scorecard across the UK hospitals and Head Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the sourcing and contract management of a portfolio of medical equipments, associated services, and Indirect categories.
  • Deliver cost savings against agreed targets whilst maintaining required levels of service.
  • Develop and implement sourcing SharePoint aligned to the business requirements.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and ensure regular communication.
  • Review and process of requisitions and purchase orders on NetSuite on a timely basis (i.e. manage requisitions and incomplete purchase orders to ensure that Hospitals kept up to date with their requirement.
  • Ensure the clients are supported if any delay in the processing of a requisition, or, the delay in the delivery of goods for outstanding purchase orders.
  • Catalog management entail adding new items, updating pricing or item information, removing out of stock items and organising items into categories for easy browsing on NetSuite (ordering system).

What Youll Need

  • Experience in end to end procurement or category management ideally in healthcare but not a pre-requisite
  • Proven track record in complex Indirect and or capital equipment and services procurement.
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Well organised and able to work to deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at any one time within a fast paced, results driven environment
