Procurement Specialist

Birmingham (Hybrid)

ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the recruitment of a Procurement Specialist on a permanent basis.

As a Procurement Specialist, you?ll be part of a team focused on Indirect Procurement Categories in IT, HR, and Factory Services. Your typical day-to-day will include meeting with suppliers, supporting with contract negotiations & tenders, RFI?s, and implementing supplier agreements.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Manager/Head of Procurement in preparing RFI, RFQ, and ITT documents
  • Source new Suppliers and Materials
  • Implement Supplier Agreements
  • Negotiate with Suppliers
  • Implement Category Plans

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Procurement position
  • Indirect Procurement Categories knowledge
  • Strong Supplier Negotiation skills.
  • Experience in Contract Management & Tendering.MCIPS Qualification / equivalent or working towards is beneficial but not essential.
