Sales Manager - Structural Steel / Metalwork

The Highfield Company are proud to be working exclusively with a leading structural steel fabricator delivering standout projects across the UK. We're on the lookout for an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to take ownership of sales activity across their structural steel and architectural metalwork division.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong technical background in steel fabrication and a passion for business development to play a key role in the company's continued growth.



Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the estimating team to follow up on bids and tenders, ensuring a proactive approach to winning work

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across structural steel and metalwork sectors

  • Set and deliver on sales objectives in line with the company's commercial strategy

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and consultants

  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing and design to support business development initiatives

  • Monitor project budgets and contribute to commercially sound, cost-effective solutions

  • Spot opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings throughout the project lifecycle



What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' experience within structural steel and/or architectural metalwork sales

  • A proven track record of securing projects and building lasting client relationships

  • Solid understanding of fabrication, installation, and structural steel processes

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Organised, driven, and commercially focused

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools
