Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the procurement of IT software, hardware, and related services, ensuring compliance with public sector procurement regulations and standards.
- Develop and manage contracts with IT vendors and suppliers, ensuring terms and conditions meet organisational and legal requirements.
- Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure delivery of high-quality products and services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify technology needs and create procurement strategies that align with organisational goals.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Manage procurement budgets and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Stay current with market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT procurement.
- Ensure compliance with public sector policies, including RFPs, RFQs, and tendering processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT procurement, with a focus on public sector contracts.
- Strong knowledge of software and hardware procurement processes.
- Excellent understanding of public procurement regulations and frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
- Strong communication, project management, and analytic skills.
- Familiarity with procurement tools and systems.
