Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure delivery of high-quality products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify technology needs and create procurement strategies that align with organisational goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
  • Manage procurement budgets and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
  • Stay current with market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with public sector policies, including RFPs, RFQs, and tendering processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT procurement, with a focus on public sector contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of software and hardware procurement processes.
  • Excellent understanding of public procurement regulations and frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
  • Strong communication, project management, and analytic skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement tools and systems.
