Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a talented and motivated Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team and support the smooth running of our supply chain operations.
Role Overview:
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of materials and products from suppliers to our project sites. You will work closely with our procurement, project management, and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels, manage deliveries, and troubleshoot any issues that arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain processes, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the timely procurement, delivery, and storage of materials for retail fit-out projects.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
- Track and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages and overstocking.
- Assist with order processing and raising PO's.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, orders, and stock movements.
- Monitor project timelines to ensure supply chain activities align with project deadlines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supply chain or logistics coordination role, ideally within construction, retail fit-out, or a related industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with supply chain software is a plus.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing demands.
- A proactive team player with the ability to work independently.
