We are working with a leading construction business to recruit a Supply Chain Manager where you will lead by example and take the role to new heights. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in maximising profit, value, and opportunity while fostering key relationships internally and externally.

Supply Chain Manager Key responsibilities:

  • To manufacture and implement the supply chain management plan
  • Lead the strategies for contracts & bids where you will identify risks and opportunities
  • Manage the strategy adopting new relationships for expansion
  • Representing the business and fulfilling the client commitments
  • Maintain relationships with preferred supply chain partners
  • Drive financial targets and ensure procurement compliance
  • Provide visibility at events, communicating key Supply Chain/procurement activities
  • Performance Management: Analyse feedback, identify trends, and recommend improvements
  • Develop performance league tables and compile compliance reports
  • Present recommendations to enhance performance and engagement
  • Communicating and Influencing: Regularly communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to improve performance
  • Influence supply chain partners for cost reduction and performance improvement

Supply Chain Manager Essential experience:

  • Great knowledge of FM and relevant processes
  • Excellent communication
  • Strong problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of various forms of contract and commercial management information
  • Familiarity with COINS is desirable
  • MCIPS qualified would be beneficial
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
