- Valuation of rural land and property.Â
- Negotiation of compensation claims.Â
- Develop and undertake new business/relationship opportunities and drive forward initiatives in the local area with a particular focus on claimants/landowners?Â
- An active role in the continuous development of efficient, ‘best practice’ internal systems and processes, optimising IT and other resources.Â
- Implementation of policy as required and ensuring legal compliance on all work carried out.Â
- Management of surveyors working across the teamÂ
- Mentoring and coaching junior members of the team through their professional development.
- Full membership of RICS and ideally a registered Valuer
- Demonstrable experience in thinking and working strategically to build the company brand
- Leadership experience and project management experience delivering land assembly schemes
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Commercial, Rural, or General practice background
- Compulsory Purchase/Compensation knowledge and experience highly desirable
- Valuation experience preferable
- The ability to drive business initiatives forward in a confident and personable manner
- The ability to establish new and maintain existing relationships.
