Role: Senior Surveyor- Partner, Lease Advisory

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £40,000- £65,000 car allowance worth £4,500 PA plus uplift

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional client service to a diverse range of clients
  • Advise on rent reviews, lease renewals, lease regears, dispute resolution, lease advice for sale and leaseback transactions, rental valuations, and third-party referrals, including Independent Expert and Arbitrator submissions
  • Pro-actively engage in business development, creating and nurturing relationships with private and corporate clients and professional contacts
  • Attend networking events and stay informed on commercial landlord and tenant issues
  • Manage tenders and fee proposals for new business
  • Demonstrate strong market knowledge and case law understanding
  • Act autonomously within the Lease Advisory and related service line teams
  • Build and develop the regional Commercial Lease Advisory team
  • Allocate and monitor staff workload, mentor graduates, and ensure team targets are met
  • Effectively manage financial tools to forecast income and work progress
  • Ensure compliance with professional, firm-wide, and service line procedures

What we need from you:

  • MRICS / FRICS qualified with 3-5 years' post-qualification experience in Commercial Lease Advisory services
  • Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate team members
  • Full driving licence
  • Strong organisational, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, negotiate at all levels, and deliver exceptional customer service
  • A positive, solution-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence
