Role Overview

Consists of taking a “hands on” proactive role in property management, ensuring that all aspects of our instruction are covered. In particular; client engagement and reporting, tenant & data management, property inspections, as well as identifying new initiatives, opportunities to clients and cross selling activities.

We have a wide client base and deal in all commercial property sectors, we act for both landlords and occupiers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reading and summarising of leases and ensure accurate data is maintained on the property management systems and to regularly check, update and audit the accuracy of the data.
  • Drafting and administering service charge budgets. Ensure tenant arrears and queries are proactively managed in conjunction with the Savills central creditcontrol team.
  • Liaise with the building managers and regional facilities managers to ensure that buildings are well maintained at all times.
  • Ensure accurate client reports are prepared to the correct specifications and issued in accordance with agreed timescales, subject to approval by line manager as required.

Tenant interaction

  • Identification and implementation of new initiatives relating to property management.

Key Skills

MRICS qualified or Assoc RICS preferred, though dependent on experience not essential

The Birmingham Property Management Team is a well established departments, consisting of 4 Directors, 3 Associate Directors, 3 Associates, 6 graduates/apprentices as well as 2 secretaries. There is also a wider analyst, credit control and client accounting team that are based in the Birmingham office.We specialise in all property sectors with a team focused working environment and culture aimed to bring the best out of each individual.
