White Label are working with a renowned engineering business in the mechanical handling industry, in their search for a Technical Sales Engineer with strong account management skills.

Our client is looking for someone to develop their key existing accounts and to also generate new business (75/25% split), supplying into industries such as quarrying, mining, water treatment, recycling, food production and more!

As the Technical Sales Engineer, your main goals are to expand the company's market presence, buildstrong client relationships and promote their full range of innovative solutionson offer.

Key Responsibilities of the Technical Sales Engineer:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market share
  • Regular Customer visits (could be managing up to 40+ accounts) with varying degrees of interaction
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting, lead generation, and client engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution, from initial inquiry to final delivery.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform sales strategies and product positioning.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

The Person:

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the mechanical handling industry
  • A background in field service engineering would be beneficial but not essential
  • Able to effectively manage your own diary
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to exceed targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings is essential
  • Engineering qualifications (apprenticeship or degree) are advantageous but not mandatory
