Technical Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer / Product Specialist required to join a manufacturer of advanced cutting tools.

The Technical Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer / Product Specialist will be based from home and cover the Midlands and surrounding areas. You will sell advanced cutting tools and provide technical support on CNC & cutting tool queries. You will develop relationships and source new business through presentations and attending industry events.

The Technical Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer / Product Specialist will have a background in precision engineering and be experienced with CAD/CAM programming. You will have a technical background and hold a qualification in engineering such as a HNC / HND / Degree or other relevant qualification.

This role will suit someone who has a technical background in CNC / Cutting Tools and is looking to move into a sales position.



Package:

Basic Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience

Company Car

Monday - Friday

25 days holiday + bank holidays

Remote position covering the Midlands and surrounding areas



Responsibilities:

  • Travel across the Midlands and surrounding areas to sell advanced cutting tools and provide technical support on CNC & cutting tool queries.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with your clients as well as source new business through presentations and networking at events & exhibitions
  • Promote & sell advanced cutting tools and services across the Midlands and surrounding areas
  • Generate leads and manage a sales pipeline through a CRM system
  • Complete detailed reports on all of your sales activity
  • Provide training on new products to customers
  • Assist with new product development
  • Remote position covering the Midlands and surrounding areas
  • Experienced with CAD/CAM programming


Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Technical Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer / Product Specialist / Area Sales Manager / External Sales Engineer / Field Sales Engineer or similar
  • An engineering qualification such as an HND / HNC / Degree or similar
  • Experienced with CAD/CAM programming
