Director of IT Services - Birmingham (Hybrid 2 days onsite) - £140,000 + Car + 25% bonusI am working with a leading West Midlands based client who are recruiting a Director of IT Service Delivery to join their senior leadership team. This role will be reporting in to the Group CIO to ensure the smooth running and continuous improvement of the IT Service Delivery department. The role is a mix of managing internal resources (team of circa 30, 7 direct) and 3rd party relationships.The ideal candidate will have a strong Service Delivery leadership background, with exceptional stakeholder management skills and have had worked in a regulated environment.Required experience:

  • In depth knowledge of ITIL Framework and processes, with practical implementation experience within a dynamic fast paced but demanding environment.
  • Background and in-depth knowledge of core service delivery domains including Service Desk, Service Management, Incident, Problem & Change management, Application support, and end user computing and support.
  • Experience defining and executing Service Strategies and overall management of a service portfolio.
  • Experience in the management and delivery of Cyber-Security operations and governance technical environment.
  • Thorough understanding of infrastructure services and cloud strategies with a clear focus on opportunities for continuous evolution and cost reduction.
  • Experience of managing IT programmes with a high degree of simultaneous business and IT change and where there is much ambiguity in potential approaches and requirements. Including a clear focus on incremental speed to value and encouraging delivering with agility alongside business colleagues.
  • Ability to effectively delegate and to lead/influence without always having direct command and control.
  • Advocate for achieving excellence in Service Delivery, passionate about world-class value delivery and driving teams to achieve this.
  • Able to combine strategic vision with a willingness to "roll sleeves up" and attention to detail.
