Technical Infrastructure Manager

Salary: up to 70k + Benefits 

Location: Birmingham – 2 days in the office a week.

At Khuda Technology, we are looking for a dedicated Infrastructure Manager with a strong technology background and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. You will oversee a team of technical experts across Azure, Wintel, DBA, and Networks, managing a large-scale IT environment. You’ll work closely with our clients to ensure consistent, high-quality support, while driving innovation, service improvement, and effective team performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of SMEs providing 24x7 IT infrastructure support.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to manage IT resources and control Cloud consumption costs.
  • Oversee cybersecurity practices and maintain ISO27001 and CES+ compliance.
  • Ensure team adherence to SLAs and KPIs, focusing on service excellence.
  • Identify and integrate emerging technologies to improve operations.
  • Act as a primary contact for client escalations, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Prepare and deliver service performance reports to senior management.

Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of Azure, Wintel, DBA, and Networking; familiarity with DevOps and automation practices.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams in a service-oriented environment.
  • Strong understanding and practice of ITIL framework.
  • Ability to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Skilled in analytical and efficient issue resolution.
  • : Competence in managing multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in a client-facing leadership role in IT service delivery.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certified with hands-on ITIL and Service Management expertise.
  • Solid knowledge of the Microsoft tech stack, with experience in complex, multi-technology environments.
