I am currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. The position offers a permanent contract with our client, a distinguished Facilities Management business. By joining this organisation, you will have the privilege of working on substantial projects in the field and making a significant contribution to the industry. This position will require for you to travel to multi sites.

Duties of the successful Multi-Skilled Engineer:

  • Conducting planned preventive maintenance (PPM)
  • Performing mechanical and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Carrying out inspections
  • Identifying faults
  • Reporting any defects or issues discovered during inspections, and ensuring they are consistently updated on site activities
  • Working between three sites per day: Longbridge, Basingstoke and Cheltenham

The ideal Multi-Skilled Engineer will have the following:

  • Previous experience working in a Maintenance/Facilities Management environment
  • Experience in conducting mechanical repair tasks, both planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive, within a commercial setting
  • Experience in completing electrical reactive tasks
  • Previous experience working with public sector end clients
  • Strong client-facing skills, with a track record of working towards stringent Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintenance targets
  • Solid understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and its application within the role
  • Possess a full, clean UK driving licence, as the role involves mobility and travel
