Job Title:Â Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location:Â Birmingham, Perry Common
Salary: £49,000
OTE: £55,000 – £60,000
Shift Pattern:Â 4 on, 4 off days and nights
ATA is working with an established manufacturer in the aviation sector. They are looking to expand their team due to growth and development. The site has a variety of kit and machinery, with plans to install new state-of-the-art production lines by the end of 2025, worth up to £5 million. This company is at the forefront of British engineering, being the only UK supplier for the products they manufacture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and mechanical issues.
- Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the operations team to improve processes and performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in on-site maintenance activities and working with heavy equipment such as conveyors, motors, extruders, pressers, sensors, and hydraulics.
- Experience working to tight schedules and in a planned maintenance environment.
- Good teamwork skills.
- Great problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work the shift pattern mentioned in the job description.
