A Highways Engineering & Transport Planning specialist are opening a brand new office in Birmingham and they are looking for an Associate Transport Planner to lead it. They're looking for someone with a proven ability to develop new business whilst leading a team of junior Transport Planners.

The consultancies other two offices will be on hand to support with resource for initial work coming through and they have already outlined a business plan to grow the Transport Planning team to 4 in the next 18 months.

In return, they can offer up to 80,000 for the position alongside a profit share bonus. You'll have the freedom to identify and lead the work you want to within development planning.

Associate Transport Planner requirements

  • Personal responsibility for your professional development.
  • Attention to detail producing high quality designs, reports, and drawings.
  • An ability to build and maintain effective new and existing client relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • IT and software skills, proficient with TRANSYT, LINSIG, ARCADY, PICADY, AUTOCAD; etc.
  • Project management skills.
