Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Ensure all electronic and paper files are up-to-date and assist with other traffic/transport-related tasks as required by Team Leaders.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise with clients, contractors, and local/national authorities as needed to deliver comprehensive advice on Highways & Transport matters.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct site appraisals/visits, design surveys, and contribute to written reports and presentation materials. This includes undertaking junction capacity assessments using specialized software tools.
  • Data Presentation: Prepare and present technical data and drawings to support project deliverables.
  • Travel Planning: Develop Travel Plans and coordinate Travel Plan initiatives.
  • Assessment Preparation: Prepare Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
  • Timely Delivery: Ensure all assigned tasks are delivered on-time and to budget.

Requirements:

  • Education/Experience: Degree in a relevant field such as Transport Planning, Geography, or Civil Engineering. Familiarity with UK Transport Planning standards and processes is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software, strong numeracy skills, and experience with spreadsheets. Familiarity with AutoCAD is desirable. Working knowledge of specific transport software tools is beneficial.
