Junior Transport Planner
Location: Birmingham

Salary: 25,000 to 35,000

An opportunity has opened for a Junior Transport Planner to join a construction / Civil Engineering company based in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will either be a graduate in Civil Engineering or similar looking to get into Transport Planning or you will have some experience in the industry.

Junior Transport Planner Key Skills:

• University degree in Civil Engineering or Transport Planning
• Any transport planning, co-ordination experience would be a bonus
• Junctions Software experience would be a bonus
• Excellent analytical skills as well as report writing
• Interest in UK roads and highways infrastructure
• UK Driving License

Junior Transport Planner Responsibilities:

• Prepare and document transport plans, assessments and drawings
• Liaise with external authorities as well as client base
• Use software to map out assessments of traffic and junction capacities
• Presentation of data to clients and internally
• Document writing and reporting
