Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting one of the world's leading multi-disciplinary consultancy firms in their hire of a talented and ambitious Senior Town Planner to support the growth of their Birmingham based team!

About you:

We are seeking applications from candidates who hold a relevant Planning degree and ideally MRTPI Chartership. You will ideally have experience with the EIA process and have experience and knowledge in strategic Planning and Planning policy. You must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, determined, and resilient!

The role:

The successful candidate will join a UK leading planning consultancy at the forefront of sustainable infrastructure and development, from Net Zero to ESG, Biodiversity Net Gain and digital transformation. You will also join colleagues in leading international development work for funding institutions and government bodies.

Duties of the role will include acting as Planning Lead on projects across a range of markets and sectors, being actively involve in bid preparations, tender submissions, and framework responses. You will act as lead consultant for multi-disciplinary projects and take responsibility for project management and delivery, while providing support to junior colleagues and the wider Planning team.
