Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Project Planner on a Permanent basis, located UK Wide.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Planner to join one of the UK’s leading consultancy’s. The successful candidate will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and monitoring projects across various industries, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Scheduling: Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules using appropriate planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate with project teams to identify and allocate resources effectively.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track project progress against the plan, identify variances, and propose corrective actions to meet project objectives.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders to provide regular updates and reports.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to address them proactively.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse project performance data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, reports, and meeting minutes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong permanent planning experience.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
