Transport Planner
Location: Birmingham
Salary: 25,000 - 30,000 (DOE)
Are you an experienced Transport Planner/Administrator with a background in General Haulage Operations? Are you looking to advance your career for an established and highly regarded Logistics Company? This role could be excellent for you!
Shifts: Monday - Friday (10am - 6:30pm) - Flexibility Available

Key Responsibilities:
- To schedule and plan day-to-day customer deliveries.
- Liaise with new and existing customers.
- Meet transport legislation commitment.
- Monitor fleet maintenance requirements and liaise with drivers.
- Daily input of KPI's, delivery and collection issues, preparing paperwork.
Requirements:
- Previous Transport Planning Experience.
- Previous experience working for a UK based Freight Forwarder/Road Transport Company or Shipping Line.
- Previous experience with General Haulage
- Knowledge of the WTD, Drivers Hours, Tachograph and Transport legislation would be beneficial.
- Ability to thrive in a busy work environment.
