Transport Planning Supervisor

Location: Birmingham

Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 (DOE)

Are you an experienced Transport Planner/Administrator with a background in General Haulage Operations and Leadership experience? Are you looking to advance your career for an established and highly regarded Logistics Company? This role could be excellent for you!

Shifts: Monday - Friday (10am - 6:30pm) - Flexibility Available

Key Responsibilities:

• To schedule and plan day-to-day customer deliveries.

• Liaise with new and existing customers.
• Meet transport legislation commitment.
• Monitor fleet maintenance requirements and liaise with drivers.

• Daily input of KPI's, delivery and collection issues, preparing paperwork.

Requirements:

• Previous Transport Planning Experience.
• CPC Licence
• Previous experience working for a UK based Freight Forwarder/Road Transport Company or Shipping Line.
• Previous experience with General Haulage
• Knowledge of the WTD, Drivers Hours, Tachograph and Transport legislation would be beneficial.
• Ability to thrive in a busy work environment.
