Behaviour Mentor required to support Key Stage 3 & 4 students on a 1-2-1 and small group basis. Do you enjoy helping students to overcome barriers to education and reengaging with education. This large Secondary School are looking to add an experienced mentor to the team to support children who have faced academic and social barriers.This role requires a Behaviour Mentor who enjoys enabling students to overcome academic and social barriers. You will  be providing 1-2-1 support, delivering intervention session and managing classroom behaviours. Excellent behaviour management skills are essential and the ability to build rapport quickly with students is a must. Job Role:
  • Supporting on a 1-2-1 basis within a classroom setting.
  • Having a good understanding of a range of additional needs.
  • Working as a Behaviour Mentor delivering intervention sessions.
  • Taking part in whole school activities and making school fun, engaging and beneficial for students.
  • Breaking down barriers to communication and managing behaviours.
