Smart Education is seeking a Tutor in Birmingham to support a visually impaired student at a pay rate of £26.62 per hour.
The position is contract-based with flexible hours, including 2 hours of paid planning and preparation each week.
Candidates must have QTS or equivalent experience working with visually impaired students and provide tailored 1:1 support.
An enhanced DBS check is required, or applicants must be willing to obtain one before starting the role.

Smart Education is currently recruiting for a Tutor to work a student that is visually impaired in Birmingham.

Job Requirements

· QTS or equivalent / Experienced visually impaired tutors

· Experience working with pupils with vision impairment and/or cognitive learning needs.

· Prepare/modify resources for pupils with a vision impairment.

· Provide tailored 1:1 support to the child, ensuring their full engagement in learning activities.

· An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to acquire one
