Your new companyYou will be joining an established multi-utility contractor based in the Birmingham area. This multi-accredited main contractor specialises in delivering infrastructure solutions across the water, gas and power sectors, and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. With an ongoing series of contracts as well as a major framework win, they are looking to onboard a Site Manager to join their delivery team.

This is a full-time permanent position based on sites in the West Midlands.

Your new roleAs Site Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and managing all day-to-day site operations on clean water and wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Ensuring work is carried out in compliance with water industry regulations and safety standards
  • Monitoring project progress, programmes, budgets and deadlines
  • Liaising with clients, local authorities and key project stakeholders
  • Providing regular reports to senior management
  • Supervising and managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Conducting site inspections and risk assessments
  • Resolving any site-related issues.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:

  • Previous experience managing water (clean water and/or wastewater) infrastructure projects
  • CSCS, SMSTS and First aid qualifications
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Full UK driving licence.
